In a recent announcement made by the famous Hooters Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, which reportedly has plans for a $20 million renovation that will see the Nevada venue open a pair of new restaurants and upgrade every one of its 657 rooms. As per the reports from the Las Vegas Review – Journal newspaper, the Las Vegas Strip property is to moreover premiere the new Rock Fantasy show featuring a rotating cast of celebrity look-alikes from next week while March 24 see magic act Jarrett And Raja begin an open-ended residency.
Mike Storm, Vice-President and general Manager for Hooters Casino Hotel, told the newspaper that ”We are here to stay,” “We’re obviously not the Bellagio Las Vegas or Caesars Palace Las Vegas, nor do we want to be. We’re all about having fun. We’re all about Las Vegas and the local community.”
Hooters Casino Hotel opened in 2006 is owned by real estate investments firm Trinity Hotel Investors and operated by Paragon Gaming. Storm shared the Las Vegas Review Journal that the renovations, which have been a year in the planning, will also include a doubling in size of the venue’s on-site sportsbook.
He further added, “All of our 657 rooms are being redone,” Storm told the newspaper. “The two television sets and tropical look with orange lampshades are going and being updated to very modern in black-and-white-themed grey with a red accent. There will be just a subtle touch of orange but no longer will you be overcome with orange.”
Regarding the new restaurants, Storm reportedly declared that these will include a national brand that is perfect for our location and demographic while the makeover is to extend to the property’s pool with a new concept and uniforms due to launch from the end of April.
Storm further said about the coming restaurants, “It’s not owned by a star and doesn’t have a celebrity chef but it’s a very hot and successful concept throughout the Midwest with Hooters Casino Hotel being the first in Las Vegas to showcase it,” Storm told the newspaper that, “Some charities didn’t want to work with us because of our reputation but we are taking a stand to be a real part of the community,” “We are a lot more family today. Our hotel is different and unique and we have the best of location steps from the Las Vegas Strip. Hooters Casino Hotel is very much here to stay.”
