4 Candidates for Cristiano Ronaldo’s New Club

Rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo wanting to move to the Premier League arose ahead of the closing days of the transfer. Here are four candidates for the new club CR7.

In these rumors, Ronaldo is said to only want to move if he leaves for Premier League club. It doesn’t stop there, another condition is that the club is playing in the Champions League.

Thus, there are only four Premier League clubs that have the potential to become Ronaldo’s new port. Ronaldo’s contract at Juventus has only one season left and has a release clause of 28 million euros. This figure is fairly cheap for the size of the Premier League clubs.

Here are the four Premier League clubs:

1. Manchester United

Among other Premier League clubs, Manchester United is the club that has the most strong ties to Cristiano Ronaldo. Man Utd is the club that brought Ronaldo from Sporting Lisbon and made him a top player in the world.

At the age of 35, Ronaldo will become one of the experienced players and can be a good mentor for young Man Utd players like Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood.

It doesn’t stop there, Man Utd also has Bruno Fernandes who is Ronaldo’s partner in Portugal and Raphael Varane who is a former teammate at Real Madrid.

Manchester United fans are eager to see Ronaldo return to Old Trafford after leaving in 2009.

Manchester United is the club with the greatest opportunity to bring Ronaldo.

2. Manchester City

Manchester City are currently still busy looking for a striker after their efforts to bring in Harry Kane did not go smoothly. Although Ronaldo is not a pure striker type, Ronaldo’s presence will still be a great addition to Man City.

Ronaldo’s sharpness is guaranteed quality because he continues to prove his quality from season to season.

Through mature passes that will be served by Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva, to Jack Grealish, Ronaldo will have the potential to become Manchester City’s new goal machine.

3. Liverpool

It’s hard to imagine Liverpool, Manchester United’s eternal rival, being interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo. However, as one of the teams competing in the Champions League this season, Liverpool is a club that has the capacity to tempt Ronaldo.

From the composition of the attacking line, Liverpool is already packed with players who are wing strikers like Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota. But if he joins Liverpool, Ronaldo can be plotted as the spearhead.

Currently Liverpool are still struggling to have a pure striker figure. The presence of Ronaldo as a center forward will certainly increase the productivity of Liverpool’s attacking line.

It is also interesting to see the combination of Mohamed Salah and Ronaldo on the front lines which will certainly be a nightmare for other teams in the Premier League.

4. Chelsea

Chelsea have introduced Romelu Lukaku as an additional striker in their squad this season.

Lukaku’s presence has increasingly overcrowded the players on the front lines. In Thomas Tuchel’s 3-4-2-1 formation, Chelsea already has Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech.

These names make Ronaldo will have a tough competitor if he wants to play regularly from week to week.

But if Ronaldo wants a competitive team and has a capable squad depth, Chelsea is definitely one of the teams he can turn to at this time.
