5 players who left out by Real Madrid in the Summer of 2020

Real Madrid is one step away from winning the Spanish League 2019-2020. Of the remaining two weeks, Los Blancos – nicknamed Madrid – only need two additional points to seal the 34th championship title in the Spanish League throughout their history.

Even so, the Spanish League trophy reached this season did not make Madrid satisfied. The stronghold of Los Blancos has ambitions to defend the title next season and win in the Champions League. For the sake of realizing that, Madrid will bring a number of quality names.

However, before bringing in the top players, Madrid management will sell a number of names. This was done in order to balance their financial balance sheets. So, who will leave from Madrid in the summer of 2020?

Here are the 5 players who left Real Madrid in the summer of 2020:

5. Brahim Diaz

Since being brought from Manchester City in the winter of 2019, Brahim Diaz is not the first choice in the Los Blancos squad. This season alone, the Moroccan player has only gone down in nine matches with a collection of one goal and one assist.

So far, it has not been known exactly where Brahim Diaz will dock. However, the player born in Malaga 20 years ago is predicted to move to one of the Spanish mediocre clubs in the summer of 2020 in order to get minutes to appear.

4. James Rodriguez

James Rodriguez is not the main choice of Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane. Whereas to bring James from AS Monaco in the summer of 2014, Madrid’s management spent 76 million euros.

This season with Madrid, the captain of the Colombian National Team has only gone down in 14 matches with a collection of one goal and two assists. Currently, Manchester United, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are the three clubs that are widely associated with Daniela Ospina’s ex-husband.

3. Luka Jovic

The success scored 27 goals for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2018-2019 season, making Madrid willing to spend 60 million euros (Rp983.2 billion) to bring Jovic in the summer of 2019. However, the Serbian passport striker appeared below standard with Madrid this season.

From 25 matches in all competitions, Jovic only collected two goals and two assists. Currently, Jovic is being chased by three European terrace clubs namely Arsenal, AC Milan and Leicester City.

2. Isco Alarcon

Isco is actually in the Zidane flagship player category. However, Isco’s role has not been seen since Eden Hazard recovered from an injury. Evidently in the seven most recent matches defending Madrid in the Spanish League, Isco completely failed to score goals or assists.

Therefore, the former Valencia player was widely reported to be leaving Madrid in the summer of 2020. One of the three Premier League giants namely Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City reportedly will get the services of the agile winger.

1. Gareth Bale

Real Madrid spent 100 million euros (Rp1.64 trillion) to bring Bale from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2013. In the early seasons defending Madrid, Bale made a major contribution to Madrid. He even scored one goal in Madrid’s 4-1 win over Atletico Madrid in the 2013-2014 Champions League final.

However, the status of the main personnel held by Bale slowly disappeared from the 2017-2018 season. Poor relations with the coach, Zidane, made Bale sit more on the bench.

This season alone, Bale has only played 16 times in the 2019-2020 Spanish League. Even in Madrid’s six most recent matches in the Spanish League, Bale just sat on the bench! When Madrid defeated Deportivo Alaves last weekend, Bale even fell asleep on the Madrid bench!

Therefore, Bale is rumored to be out of the Santiago Bernabeu. Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and one of the Chinese Super League clubs are possible destinations for the Welsh footballer.
