Canadian fighter Georges St-Pierre on last week had promised a victory against middleweight champion Michael Bisping at UFC 217.
This time, the 36-year-old professional fighter claimed that he’s planning to beat Bisping within five rounds during their big fight on Nov 4, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“It will not last five rounds. I guarantee that!” St-Pierre said during in press conference at the Hockey Hall of Fame, Toronto.
“He has much more to worry about than I do. I can get him to the ground, hit him and subdue him. I have a lot of more weapons than him. All he has is that he’s bigger.”
“He’s a very angry man. He takes everything as insult, he takes everything personal. If you would have asked Michael ten years ago, “What would make you happy?” He would probably say, ‘Be world champion.” St-Pierre added.
When asked will he agree if his opponent was one of the best fighter in UFC, St-Pierre responded that Bisping definitely the best fighter so far.
“Yes, he is. But he’s got a loss on Nov 4, 2017. This I can guarantee you. He’s not going to beat me. There’s nothing more sure. Water is wet, fire burns and I’m going to beat Michael Bisping.” St-Pierre said.
GSP last victory was in November, 2013, when he had disposed of Johnny Hendricks by split decision before announcing that it took a break of the sport.
However, St-Pierre confirmed if he lost in this big fight against Bisping, he would retire from MMA or UFC tournament for sure.
