Jorge Lorenzo intends to correct the titles in 2018 after failed to win champion in MotoGP 2017. For his second year at Ducati, the Spaniard wants to prove to Italian factory that the brand was right to trust him.
“I did not register any victory and I was not even able to fight for the podium at the beginning of the year.” Lorenzo said.
“But I knew how to be patient. I have never given up and during the last races, we have achieved quite good results. The team did a lot of work.
“Ducati helped me a lot to adapt the bike as much as possible to my riding style. So I think we’re going to get into the 2018 campaign with a much stronger base. Lorenzo finished 2017, coming close to a win at Sepang, before making his way to Valencia.” Lorenzo added.
“Andrea and Ducati Desmosedici GP have shown that we have all the cards to fight for the title. I think we have the strength and the experience to achieve that goal.” Lorenzo said.
“I believe enormously in our chances and I am convinced that we are stronger than a year ago. Being a Ducati rider is something very special for me: I am very proud to have accepted this challenge and I feel at home from day one. It is for this reason that I would like to offer them in return many victories and the title.” former Yamaha’s added.
