Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri should stay next season

Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who has just won a fourth consecutive Serie A title and Italian Cup, has said he has a “very” high chance of remaining with the Bianconeri this summer.

Speaking to media, the Italian head coach has given assurances that he will likely stay put in the Juventus if the club don’t sack him.

“The percentage of chances that I stay on the Juventus bench is very high. We will sit down with the leaders and we will plan the next season with the objective of continuing to win,” Allegri told a press conference.

“Next week I will meet the club to see the plans and understand what the club wants to do in order to make Juventus competitive next season, as they have always done.

“My intention is to stay here and for the moment, I do not see any reason to imagine myself elsewhere. I repeat that we will talk with the club and if the objectives remain the same, we will continue together without any problem,” he added.

When asked about Napoli, Allegri has praised his closest rival. But he also had very clear words about the value of both teams, while several players from Napoli and many observers felt that Maurizio Sarri’s team would have deserved the scudetto.

“I just say that Juventus deserve credit for remaining calm after the defeat to Napoli. As things stand, they’ve still had an excellent season, keep improving their results and Sarri’s football is very pleasurable to watch.” Allegri said.

Arsenal are convinced Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri is their man.

Arsenal are reported to be preparing an offer for Allegri as they seek replacement for their current head coach Arsene Wenger, who set to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Former AC Milan head coach brought Juventus to the 2015 and 2017 Champions League finals, beat Barcelona and then Real Madrid would stand in is way triumph.

Allegri’s track record is equally what would make him so interesting to Premier League club Arsenal, who hoped can take the club back to the top of English football.

Arsenal were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League in the semi-final by eventual winners Atletico Madrid, while this season they finished at sixth place in the Premier League table standings and failed to qualify for the Champions League for second time since Wenger took over as head coach in 1996.

However, Juventus have instead that everyone at Turin wants Allegri to extend his contract and stay with the club, which is set to expire in the summer of 2020.
