2018 MotoGP Champion Marc Marquez Feel Pleased at Home

Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez admitted that he was more comfortable at home spending time with family. However, a solid routine as a rider makes the 2018 MotoGP champion forced to leave the house often to go racing.

In an interview session with Paddocktalk, Marquez mention people who he would contact first if he had a problem. The owner of the seven world titles ranks who will be contacted based on the type of problem they experience, ranging from brother, mother, father, or best friend, Emilio Alzamora.

“When I have a bad day, I try to spend time with my brother or with a friend to forget about my problems. But I rarely get bad days so I always try to choose to exercise or ride a bicycle,” said Marquez.

His busy race makes Marquez only have little time for vacation. Even so, he does not have one favorite place that he makes as a particular tourist destination.

“The place I like most is my home. Sometimes it’s hard to understand this and some people ask me ‘why don’t you go there?’ But I miss homes, sofas, watching TV and relaxing, “he said.

Far from his home in Cervera, Catalonia, the people on his team, Repsol Honda was considered as his second family. He also felt proud of his team because he could spread excitement to those around him.

“In my team, everyone has good and bad points. We can experience a bad day for a variety of reasons, whether personal or professional, but between us always end up smiling. Thank you, because they work so much better and more fun, “Marquez said.

Meanwhile, the Moto2 rider who is Marquez’s younger brother, Alex Marquez, expressed his pride at the achievements of his brother who won the MotoGP title for the fifth time.

Alex congratulated Marquez for his eighth victory of the season. At the same time, the fifth world title that Marc won with Repsol Honda since his MotoGP and seventh world champion throughout his career.

“Congratulations, Marc, congratulations on the seven world titles that have been achieved. A good career,” Alex was quoted as saying on the official MotoGP website.

The siblings continued to support each other in their respective careers. The second highest achievement was when Marc and Alex both won at two different racing levels in the 2014 season.

At that time, Marquez won his second MotoGP world title in a row, while Alex won the title in the Moto3 arena.

“You have done an extraordinary year. You see the fact that you are a world champion with three races left. So this is the tenth year (since Marc first appeared in the 125 cc World Championship in 2008). Every time, you know where the limit, when to attack, when not. ”

“They ask me how far you will go. I know what the world is like and I dare not to tell anything. But right, you are only 25 years old but you have won five MotoGP world titles,” Alex said.
