Mohamed Salah Hattrick, Liverpool beat Bournemouth 4-0, Salah Create Several Records

Mohamed Salah became the star of Liverpool’s victory by scoring a hat trick when beating Bournemouth 4-0 in the English Premier League which was held at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday (12/08). The Egyptian international winger scored a hat trick while another Liverpool goal was created thanks to Steve Cook’s own goal.

Liverpool, who appeared to dominate the new game, were able to score an advantage in the 25th minute thanks to Salah’s close-range shot. Starting from Roberto Firmino’s shot which was blocked by Asmir Begovic, but the wild ball in the penalty box was successfully struck by Salah to bring Liverpool 1-0 up.

Bournemouth players protested and claimed wrong offside. However, the referee did not budge and validate the goal of excellence for Liverpool.

The hosts tried to get up after conceding and tried to spread the threat through Junior Stanislas in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, his shot could still be blocked by Georginio Wijnaldum and only produced a corner kick.

These results led Liverpool to the top of the Premier League standings or one point ahead of nearest rivals Manchester City.

Opta noted, Salah became the first Liverpool player to successfully score a hat trick on the road in the English Premier League since March 2014 in the name of Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan striker scored a goal against Cardiff.

Since the beginning of last season, only Lionel Messi (43 goals) has been able to score more goals in Europe’s top five leagues than Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah (42 goals).

Currently Salah is the second Liverpool player in history to score a hat trick against Bournemouth in a competitive match. Harry Chambers became the first Liverpool player to score a hat trick against Bournemouth in the FA Cup in January 1927.

Salah became a Liverpool player who collected the fastest goals, namely 40 goals from 52 appearances in the English Premier League. Previously Fernando Torres carved it after playing 60 games while Daniel Sturridge in the 64th match.

The Egyptian winger also listed himself as the most opening scorer in the English Premier League this season. At least two more goals than other players.

Currently Salah has collected 56 goals for Liverpool in all competitions. A total of 42 of them were created in the English Premier League including a score of 10 goals this season.
