Less Fierce, Tigers Fail to Qualify for DreamLeague Season 11

Less Fierce, Tigers Fail to Qualify for DreamLeague Season 11

This year’s third Dota 2 major tournament is DreamLeague Season 11, which will be held next March in Sweden. But the open qualifying round from the grand tournament has been held starting this week. The tournament with a prize of $1,000,000 USD and 15,000 pro circuit points was attended by many large Dota 2 teams. No exception, one of the giant teams in the Southeast Asia Tigers.

With the composition of new post-Ahjit players and InYourDream leaving the Tigers, the team must go from the open qualifying round. The Tigers ‘new recruits, Mushi and Dendi, seemed to return the Tigers’ hopes to appear in the third major tournament of the year.

But unfortunately Tigers twice snuck in the open qualification for their opponents. 1437 and friends must fall to the open qualifier for the Stockholm Major tournament in March. Despite having shown impressive performances in the first round, Tigers finally had to surrender from the hands of WG.Unity. Using Kunkka’s strategy and Phantom Lancer, Tigers look so overwhelmed in serving the Anti-Mage game shown by the WG.Unity carry. As a result, Anti-Mage is able to mess up the Tigers defense and make them type ‘gg’

Lastly on the second open qualifier today, Tigers were unable to defeat representatives from Japan, the Detonator team. Even though Dendi and his friends managed to control the game and almost won the match. But Detonator managed to make a brilliant comeback and ended the struggle of Tigers in the DreamLeague Season 11 competition.

With the defeat of the Tigers in the second Open Qualifier round, many people began to doubt their strength to undergo the upcoming tournaments. Although there were many who doubted the strength of Tigers, there were those who said that they were still in the stage of adaptation to one another. Because, the arrival of two new players with their respective characters will greatly affect the flow of the game.

Even so, Tigers still have the chance to participate in DreamLeague Season 11. The only way is to successfully qualify for the third minor tournament this year, StarLadder Invitational Season 6. Tigers not only have to qualify for the event but also have to win it to get the last ticket to DreamLeague Season 11.

Let’s wait for Tigers to get the remaining tickets. Or would Tigers even remodel their players before the tournament rolled. With the release of InYourDream and Ahjit, it has greatly influenced the strength of Tigers at this time.

So, can Dendi and Mushi prove that they can? What’s more, winning a tournament is not easy. But, that is not impossible for Dendi or Mushi. They are living legends of Dota 2 and Southeast Asia. Hopefully Dendi’s will go back up after this defeat.
