After playing for OG for approximately 3 months, Igor “iLTW” Filatov seems to have to part ways with OG.
This farewell happened because OG hasn’t gotten a good achievement while playing with iLTW, even OG hasn’t succeeded in entering the major tournament.
“The DPC season puts the team on the timer and we unfortunately have to make a decision to part with him [iLTW], because we still don’t meet the results we are aiming for,” OG said
By separating iLTW from OG, it does not mean that iLTW plays badly for OG, even Sébastien “Ceb” also praises iLTW.
“Igor is very dedicated and hardworking. I’ve played and trained many players throughout my career, and the passion for games made me a little impressed. I hope for the best for the project in the future, “said Sébastien” Ceb “Debs
The good news, Anathan “Ana” Pham who brought OG to win The International 2018 has returned to OG. This is known from the story of OG Twitter today, precisely on March 14, 2019.
The decline in OG’s performance is also evidence of Ana’s influence in the team. Even though OG have tried two players, Pajkatt and iLTW, OG has had minimal achievements throughout the 2019 Dota Pro Circuit. So far they can only be present in two Minor, namely The Bucharest Minor and Starladder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor. Both ended disappointing, which finished in the top six.
With the return of Ana, it is hoped that OG is now able to carve achievements. Because after The International 2018 was over, OG had a less than satisfactory performance.
Ana is one of the players who contributed to the slick performance in the final of The International 8. He is one of the players who became the main factor that made OG win over TI8. Throughout the tournament he proved to be a decisive winner both from just carrying out duties as a late game carry to making a brilliant play.
Before returning to join OG, Ana had time to play with Team Australia at the WESG event. In that team, Ana played as a support. A surprise does see Ana playing with a support role, and the results are also seen in the game. The team from Ana had to bow down sluggishly after a bad game, and only finished 13-16. After the tournament, Ana decided to take a break from the world of Dota 2.
The presence of Australian players is like giving a signal to the whole team. So with this, competition for the 2018-2019 DPC season is sure to be even more exciting, because the TI8 champion roster from OG has been reunited.
Will OG stop Team Secret and Virtus.pro domination? Or does it still need some adjustments after Ana’s absence for a long time?
