4 Bad Things at Real Madrid After Cristiano Ronaldo left

Real Madrid increasingly felt the bad effects of losing Cristiano Ronaldo. Here’s the impact that has been felt by Los Blancos since CR7 left at the end of last season.

Real Madrid made a big surprise by releasing Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus at the end of last season. Though the Portuguese star was clearly and convincingly a part of the success of Los Blancos to dominate Europe in three consecutive seasons plus a series of other titles.

As soon as Ronaldo left, Real Madrid immediately felt the negative impact in the 2018/2019 season. Here are some bad things that Real Madrid have experienced in their first season since Ronaldo left:

1. Swallow 10 Defeats in a La Liga Season

Real Madrid last claimed 10 defeats in a season in 2008/2009, or the last season before they recruited Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.

But after Cristiano Ronaldo left, Real Madrid again collected 10 defeats this season. The number of Real Madrid defeats can still increase because there are still three games left at the end of the season.

2. Failed to Score in Two Straight Games

Real Madrid for the first time failed to score in two consecutive matches in the era of coaching Zinedine Zidane. Not only that, Real Madrid’s current goal record is only really based on Karim Benzema.

Los Blancos’ last eight goals against the opponent’s goal were born from Benzema’s contribution.

3. Real Madrid Can’t Win 75 Points

Real Madrid for the first time have not won 75 points or more since the 2005/2006 season when they recorded 70 points. When Cristiano Ronaldo arrived, a record of 75 points or more was always obtained by Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Currently Real Madrid’s score points are still at 65 points and the maximum points they can reach are 74 points at the end of the season. Real Madrid Can’t Get 75 Points

4. Real Madrid Productivity Decreases Away

Since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid have always scored more than 100 goals in the first eight seasons of CR7. In the last season which was the worst record, Real Madrid were still able to record 94 goals.

After Ronaldo left, Real Madrid were only able to score 59 goals so far. With the remaining three games, it is almost impossible for Real Madrid to approach last season’s goal productivity.
