LD Reveals His Wish to Comeback as a Caster

For those of you who often watch Dota 2 matches since the beginning of their appearance in 2011 ago, maybe LD is not a unfamiliar name.

Since 2012, this man named David Gorman has become a caster of various major Dota 2 tournaments. His attractive caster style and ability to create hype when certain moments occur make him liked by the public.

LD also has unique and memorable sentences and he also witnesses a number of historic moments on the competitive scene of Dota 2, such as the $ 1 Million Dollar Dream Coil from the midlaner Alliance S4 in 2013.

LD has never been absent from major Dota 2 tournaments. In addition to being a caster, LD who was the Founder of BeyondTheSummit, an esports production company engaged in casting and airing Esports tournaments.

From BeyondTheSummit, was born a unique tournament called The Summit where each team will gather in a large house used as the location of the tournament. There, every player and talent on-air can mingle with each other and be able to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

BeyondTheSummit continues to grow and now they not only host tournaments for Dota 2, but also for other esports such as CS: GO and Super Smash.

LD’s busy life as a caster and manager of BeyondTheSummit had created an unhealthy lifestyle. He sacrificed his health, social life, and himself completely for the sake of his care.

This situation forced LD to step back from the casting world since 2017. LD wants to focus on taking care of BeyondTheSummit so that it can continue and become a decent career place for people who want to get into the world of esports.

After retreating for two years, LD seemed to miss his job as a caster and this was revealed by his story a few days ago.

The community sees this statement as a signal that LD will return casting and maybe he will participate in the upcoming 2019 International as a caster.

LD, who did not expect his speech to be blown up, made a statement about the story that was published through his social media account.

LD stated that the statement was not a statement that he was invited as a caster for The International or a code to Valve to invite him. If Valve invites him, he will reject it because he does not want to appear halfway.

Despite not appearing at The International, LD expressed his desire to return as a caster next season. He will also try to play games such as META and learn more about things that have not been studied for the past 2 years.

In addition, LD also misses his fellow talents on-air and wants to recall his days as a caster. LD’s comeback will definitely be looked forward to by his fans. Then, what about you? Are any of you looking forward to the return of this one caster?
