Who doesn’t know about Topias Miikka “Topson” Taavitsainen especially for you fans of the Dota 2 game? The midlaner now playing for the OG team has indeed become a millionaire thanks to his 2 wins at The International.

But, maybe a few of you know the struggle that Topson is doing to be able to be at the current point. There are sacrifices he must make to reach his dream as a professional player.

Presented in the northern Finladian country, little Topson grew up and grew up with 5 of his siblings. At the age of 8 years, Topson for the first time tried the Dota game that was introduced by his brother who was 7 years older.

Having a new hobby, Topson’s parents first saw this as a problem. Various attempts such as taking gaming equipment and even an internet connection were made so that his children stopped playing games.

Topson is not a name if he gives up easily, he is still in this new hobby, even the 21-year-old player decides to drop out of chef school because he thinks he has the opportunity to become a professional player with the skills he has.

Joining the Oogway team in 2016, Topson’s career finally began. But unfortunately, from the 4 amateur tournaments they participated in they always had to settle for finishing in last place.

Even though they haven’t won yet, the neat game that Topson brought has finally made one of the Russian esports teams, SFTe-sports interested in asking for his hand and this is the real beginning of Topson’s professional career.

Has an improvement, finally Topson who in 2017 at that time managed to taste the champion for the first time. Not just once, even with SFTe-sports he was able to win 2 times in the ProDota Cup Europe tournament.

Unfortunately, due to a problem with the team, eventually all the retainers, including Topson, had to part with SFTe-sports which had been in a relationship for less than 2 months, forming a new team called No Rats.

With this new name, Topson again must be sluggish in matters of achievement. Of the 5 times the tournament participation he never even won one and 1 other tournament his team decided to resign.

Still hungry for achievement, Topson finally joined the 5 Anchors No Captain team which is a combination of 5 Finnish players with Trixi in it.

The neat game that Topson returned to show the team 5 Anchors No Captain, finally reached the ears of the ranks of the OG team who finally led him to play on the team that still defended him until now in June 2018.

Maybe you guys are not aware of this yet, but the achievements that Topson brought with the OG team are directly taking the champion at The International 8. Not only that, even the second trophy is also the TI9 champion which incidentally is a world-class tournament.

Also joining OG, finally Topson’s parents’ views of the game changed 180 degrees. From trying to get rid of the hobby of the game that his children occupied first, They finally realized how great esports now and never even left behind to watch his favorite children’s games.

One more unique fact that you might not know, when he joined OG, Topson only had an esports income worth USD $ 3000 which now has managed to increase hundreds of times with a total current income of USD $ 5,410,036.37.
