Australian tennis player Ashleigh Barty may not have been lucky at the US Open singles number, but she walked into the final of the US Open Women’s Doubles for the second time in a row.
Aiming at winning the second consecutive US Open title for the second time in a row. Barty and her partner Victoria Azarenka Cruised to the top of the party with 6-0, 6-1.
Winning the US Open double last season with host, Coco Vandeweghe, Barty and Azarenka will face Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka or Vania King and Caroline Dolehide in the top party which will be held on Sunday (08/09) local time.
This final will be doubles final for the third time for Barty at Flushing Meadows after he lost in 2013.

Barty and Azarenka appeared merciless when slaughtering Sasnovich and Kuzmova in 56 minutes at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
“Vika’s performance was truly impressive. I am not sure if he missed a ball throughout the match, “said Barty.
“I enjoyed the match. He is a true champion and I am relieved he is on the same side of the field as me. ”
Azarenka partnered with Barty after Vandeweghe still had to struggle to overcome the ankle injury that still haunted him.
“It is truly extraordinary to be in the finals of the US Open (double number),” exclaimed Azarenka. “For me, this final will be my first Grand Slam final as a mother.”
As we have seen in the women’s singles match before, In 82 minutes, Wang Qiang defeated the French Open champion this season, Barty with convincing results 6-2, 6-4 which took the Chinese to the quarter-finals of the first Grand Slam in his career at the US Open .
However, 27-year-old Wang Qiang showed a quality game like the one he showed during the hard-court season in Asia last season to beat Australian nationality Barty and record his first win over the top 3.
In most matches, a number of Barty’s mainstays were quite disappointing. Although Barty made a total of 39 unforced errors, towards the end of the match there were positive signs from him that rediscovered the rhythm of his game, including securing two match points in the ninth game, even ready to turn things around.
However, Wang did not give any chance for Barty to continue to grow and by converting his fourth match point. Wang became the first Chinese female player to advance to the quarterfinals of US Open since Peng Shuai in 2014.
