3 things that made the Cagliari midfielder the perfect recruit for Inter Milan

There are characteristics from Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, who will be perfect for Inter Milan if bought on the transfer market later.

This season Inter Milan became the most serious contender for the championship title of the Italian league.

For the next middle of the season, Inter Milan reportedly intends to strengthen the team by bringing in several players in the transfer market. One of the posts that the club wants to be strengthened is midfield.

After recruiting Nicolo Barella last summer, Inter are now eyeing another midfielder. Reported from Calciomercato, Inter want to bring Cagliari midfielder, Nahitan Nandez.

Inter has reportedly been paying attention to Nandez since the 23 years old player is still in the Argentine League with Boca Juniors. The same report mentions why Nandez could be Inter Milan’s perfect signing.

For Antonio Conte’s team, players who wish to join have to had special desire. “Inter consider Nandez perfect for Conte,” writes Calciomercato. “He has the character, speed and vision to play in the midfield.”

Nandez was bought by Cagliari last summer with a dowry of 18 million euros. He now has a contract until 2024. This means Inter won’t get Nandez cheaply.

Even so there are other ways that can be taken by Inter to get the ideal player. At the moment, Radja Nainggolan has been loaned out by Inter to Cagliari. Hence, the Belgian professional player whose nicknamed II Ninja could have been included in the purchase package so that Cagliari would release Nandez.

Even so, the transfer will be complicated because it must involve many parties. This is because Nandez and Nainggolan must both agree besides Inter and Cagliari also agree on the transfer fee.

This season Nandez has played 13 times in all competitions, 12 of them in Serie A. The Uruguayan has always been a starter and played fully in the first seven weeks of the season. In total, he played 10 times as a starter and two became substitutes.

Aside from being a central midfielder, Nandez can also play on the right wing. He has shown himself to be well rounded having made more ball recoveries and crosses and created more scoring chances for himself than any of his teammates in Rolando Maran’s squad.
