Premier League Results: Liverpool Beat Watford 2-0

Liverpool solidify their position at the top of the English League standings after beating Watford 2-0 at Anfield Stadium on Saturday (12/14).

Salah was finally able to widen Liverpool’s advantage at the end of the second half utilizing a wild ball from Divock Origi’s new shot to replace Firmino. Referee Marriner hesitated with Salah’s second goal. He also reviewed via VAR before finally stating that the goal was valid and did not occur offside.

Score 2-0 for Liverpool’s advantage lasted until the fight was over. Victory over Watford made Liverpool increasingly lone alone at the top of the standings with 49 points or 10 points away from closest rivals Leicester City.
