He was motivated to win his title, especially after qualifying for the finals in the 2018 season. He is one of the most favored tennis players in Rotterdam, so it is truly remarkable to find him here, “explained the tournament director in Rotterdam, Richard Krajicek.
Meanwhile, world number 6 Tsitsipas will play in Rotterdam next season for the fourth time. The 21-year-old Tsitispas debuted in Rotterdam in the 2017 season as the world ranked 205 at the age of 18 and lost to Jo Wilfried Tsonga in the first round.
Tsitsipas returned to Rotterdam last February as champion of the Next Gen ATP Finals and Australian Open semifinalist.

The youngest of them all, Stefanos Tsitsipas is the most charismatic player. Not only in the field, but also on social media. He knows how to attract the attention of many fans, something that the tennis world needs, “added Krajicek.
