English Premier League Results: Arsenal Win Everton

Arsenal narrowly won 3-2 over Everton in the 27th week of the English Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Monday (24/2).

The visitors immediately gave a surprise in the first minute through a spectacular goal from Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The goal began with Gylfi Sigurdsson’s free kick which David Luiz had wrongly anticipated. Wild ball that has not touched the ground immediately greeted Calvert-Lewin with a overhead kick.

Jolted by a quick Toffees goal, the London Cannon tried to get up. In the 6th minute, Nicolas Pepe’s action on the right side of the penalty box attracted many Everton players.

He then handed Hector Bellerin’s ball free in front of the penalty box. But the kick from the Spaniard is still rising from the goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

The Gunners young striker, Eddie Nketiah, provided a goal back in the 27th minute. Welcoming Bukayo Saka’s pass from the left, Nktiah cheated on a ball that could not be anticipated by goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

Arsenal doubled their lead with a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang goal in the 33rd minute. Luiz’s breakthrough bait that broke through Everton’s defense was not wasted by Aubameyang.

After escaping Everton’s offside trap, Aubameyang drew the ball into the penalty box before placing the ball to the left side of the opponent’s goal to beat Pickford.

Towards the end of the first half the Toffees equalized through Richarlison’s goal in the 45th minute + 2.

A pass from Yerry Mina was greeted with a ‘kungfu’ kick by Richarlison so outwit goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

In the second half Arsenal immediately gave a quick response by returning ahead in the 46th minute through Aubameyang’s header.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker welcomed Nicolas Pepe’s cross with a header. The ball that bounced off the grass first made it difficult for Pickford to save.

The match took place interestingly in the second half, both Arsenal and Everton were both playing openly. In the 72nd minute, Carlo Ancelotti’s men threw away a golden opportunity to equalize.

Bernard’s cross meets the head of Richarlison who passes the ball to Calvert-Lewin. But his shot in front of the Arsenal goal can still be dammed by Leno.

The German goalkeeper again saved Arsenal from being broken in the 75th minute. This time, he blocked the distance with Richarlison who got a pass from Fabian Delph.

Continue to be pressured by Everton, Arsenal tried to respond. Sigurdsson’s error in possession of the ball in defense almost drove Arsenal away.

The loose ball leads to Nketiah who is free standing in the penalty box. Hard kick effort only hit the crossbar.

In the remaining time there is no goal that is created. Arsenal closed this match with a 3-2 victory.
