Yu Hanchao was Imprisoned for Breaking Traffic Rules in China

Yu Hanchao (33 years old) was forced to feel the coldness of the prison floor for 15 days because of violating traffic rules in China. The Guangzhou government stipulates that vehicles from outside Guangzhou cannot be used to enter the largest city in the South China region for four consecutive days.

However, after entering the city area in the Guangdong province for four consecutive days, Yu Hanchao, one of Guangzhou Evergrande’s club players, was caught breaking the rules by the way he changed his car’s license plate. Hanchao changed the letter E to F on the license plate of his car. The letter E in his Mercedez Benz is registered for the Liaoning region, his hometown. It is about 2,700 kilometers away from Guangzhou.

Hanchao was found out. And the police detained him. Camera video footage proves Hanchao was seen changing his Mercedes Benz number plate. Besides being jailed for 15 days, Hanchao was also fined 5,000 Yuan, for his violations. The driver’s license was also held for a while.

No mercy for Hanchao who violated the rule of law in the Bamboo Curtain country, the club kicked him out.

Since his move from Dalian Arbin in 2014, with Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao, he has won the AFC Champions League in 2015 and 2013. As for domestic competition, almost every season, the club has won the Chinese Super League. Hanchao’s contribution to his team is considered favorable both by the management and the fans.

The team’s head coach nicknamed the “Southern China Tiger” or Southern China Tigers is a former Italian soccer legend, Fabio Cannavaro. Fabio Cannavaro was nicknamed “Muro di Berlino” and the man born in Naples, Italy, 13 September 1973 was considered one of the best defenders of all time.
