After the loss of Real Madrid to Atlentico Madrid by 1-0 at Santiago Bernabeu, Ronaldo has framed an ugly comment. He and his teammates failed to win in 90 minutes and hence, Los Blancos is 9 points away from Barcelona.
He quoted, “If everyone was as good as me, maybe we would be first. If a team does not play with the best, (it) is difficult to win a long competition.” His rude comment has made him loose the title “La Liga”.
He further said, “From what the press says it seems like I am doing (expletive) but the numbers and statics do not lie. They are there.
Undoubtedly, Ronaldo is a talented player, but this harsh statement is quiet upsetting.
Zinedine Zidane, the manager of Real Madrid, may leave his job after this defeat. He said, “Next year, there might be changes, players and coach. I cannot be happy with the defeat, with what happened, the game we played. Of course it is a difficult moment. It always screws you to lose a derby at home. But we must be professional and think about the next game”
Where Zidane took the responsibility of the defeat and came out as a leader, Ronaldo, on the other hand sounded like a selfish guy. His last performance too, was not good. He had only scored 1 goal in last 6 matches. Real Madrid has lost 2 matches, drawn 3 matches and had won just 1 match.
Instead of being a good and taking the responsibility of the loss, he blamed his teammates. He blamed Lucas Vazques, Mateo Kovacic and Jese Rodriguez for the loss.
