Italian League Results: AC Milan Beat Bologna Five Goals

AC Milan destroyed Bologna with a score of 5-1 in Week 34 of the Italian League match at the San Siro Stadium on Sunday (7/19).

Milan’s five winning goals were created by Alexis Saelemaekers, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ismael Bennacer, Ante Rebic, and Davide Calabria.

Milan immediately appeared kicked off Bologna’s defense in the beginning of the match. The game has been running for 10 minutes, I Rossoneri managed to break into Bologna’s goal.

The opening goal scored by Saelemaekers thanks to attractive cooperation between Rebic, Theo Hernandez, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, then Saelemaekers.

Rebic pushes the ball towards Hernandez who moves to cut the right side of Bologna’s defense. He then released a flat cross into the penalty box.

The ball right leads to Ibrahimovic. The former Manchester United player deliberately missed the ball to be struck by Saelemaekers next to him. Saelemaekers immediately kicked the ball and pierced the Bologna goal.

Entering the 24th minute, Milan added advantage thanks to Calhanoglu’s goal utilizing blunders of Bologna goalkeeper, Lukasz Skorupski.

Skorupsi tries to clear the ball, but it is precisely about Calhanoglu who has been waiting in the penalty box. The Rossoneri striker also punished Skorupsi by scoring goals into his net.

Bologna briefly missed out thanks to goals from Takehiro Tomiyaso. The Japanese player fired hard with his left foot and made the ball unable to dammed by Gianluigi Donnarumma.

2-1 score lasted until the first half ended. Entering the second half, Milan is still ambitious to add another goal.

Stefano Pioli’s team added two more goals to Bologna. The goals were created by Ismael Bennacer on 49 minutes assist from Calhanoglu and Ante Rebic on 57 minutes utilizing Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s assist.

At the end of the match, Milan again added the score to 5-1 thanks to goals from Davide Calabria assist from Rafael Leao.

Score 5-1 for Milan last until the match was over. I Rossoneri temporarily overtook Napoli in sixth place. Napoli had the opportunity to straddle Milan again in their home match against Udinese at the San Paolo Stadium on Monday (7/20).
