Tennis News: US tennis star Serena Williams has become one of the best tennis players in tennis history. That is why in most tournaments he often plays on the main court.
Serena Williams revealed that she was trying to let other girls play on the main court in a recent conversation with Natalie Portman
During the talk, Williams talked about how the schedule for the match always had more men’s number matches than the women’s number matches and he always was one in the women’s number matches.
“I literally said, ‘Just put me on field number two, so that we can find other players playing on the main field’ and it didn’t go well with the tournament. I thought, ‘These girls really need opportunities and they deserve it. They have literally worked hard throughout their careers and you only gave them two matches, “said Williams.

Williams also revealed that he always gives the same argument in every tournament he plays every season. He did this in the hope that there would be a change in the tournament. And because he clearly wants it, we can expect the tennis player who has won 23 Grand Slam titles to come back to voice this argument at this season’s tournament.
While Williams certainly suggested a change, his main focus at the moment was training, because the WTA tournament would be held again after a long vacuum due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And Williams wants to achieve one of his biggest targets, namely winning the 24th Grand Slam title in his career.
By achieving this target, Williams will equal Margaret Court’s record as a female tennis player with the largest single number of Grand Slam titles. This he has tried to achieve in the last few seasons. The next opportunity to do so is the US Open and hopefully he will win the US Open this season and reach his target.
