Andrea Pirlo once gave advice to his former team, Juventus about maximizing the role of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at the club in 2019. Unexpectedly, a year later, Pirlo became Juventus coach.

Before being trusted to train the first team, Pirlo was appointed as coach of the Juventus U-23 team at the end of last July. However, in less than a month, Pirlo leveled up to become the coach of the team’s main squad nicknamed the Old Lady.
Andrea Pirlo signs a two-year contract until 30 June 2022 as Juventus coach. Meanwhile, launched from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former AC Milan and Juve player will receive a salary of 2 million euros per year.
