Julia Goerges Hanging Racket, This Is A Message From Fellow Tennis Players

Julia Goerges

Julia Goerges has informed about her retirement from tennis. As we often say, “All good things will eventually end”.

The 31-year-old tennis player wrote a touching letter after choosing to end her career in tennis. The message he received after uploading the letter through his personal Instagram account, shows the positive things he has left in the world of tennis.

After becoming a professional tennis player in the 2005 season, the German national spent 15 seasons traveling all over the world and wading through the ups and downs of his career in tennis.

“When I started playing tennis at the age of 5, I never thought that we would go so long together,” Goerges wrote.

Apart from achieving individual success through the world of tennis, Goerges has also created friendships during his raid. A number of women’s tennis stars expressed their feelings after hearing the German national player’s decision. And some also expressed gratitude for all they had shared with him on the pitch.

Former Czech doubles partner Karolina Pliskova sent a warm message saying, “I just heard the news and I want to dedicate a few words to you. First of all, congrats on your fantastic career! We’ve had a lot of fun on and off the pitch, and I have the honor of having the opportunity to meet you!”

“Even though we have had so many extraordinary results and our friendship is the most precious thing to me.”

World number 2 Simona Halep also expressed her feelings about Goerges’ decision and sent a sweet message to her.

“Oh, that is both fun and sad news. I feel sad that I won’t see you again in the tournament and I feel good because it means you feel good off the pitch and you are ready to start another round! Your future looks so bright, so, I wish you all the best and stay in touch !,” wrote Halep.

His compatriots that Angelique Kerber and Andrea Petkovic also did not miss to convey a message full of warmth to friends and rivals on the field.

“Starting with youthful ups and downs every day of the tournament… the time we spent together in the Fed Cup will never be forgotten,” Kerber wrote.

Meanwhile Petkovic wrote, “What an extraordinary career! I will miss you. wishing you all the best, Jule and congratulations on a fantastic career (although in the doubles I’m getting in your way more than helping you).”
