Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly raise the salary of South Korean striker Son Heung-min. The increase in salary is amidst soaring performance of the 28-year-old player in the 2020-2021 season.
Quoting Football Insider, Thursday (5/11/2020), Son will get a salary increase of up to 200 thousand pounds per week. The salary value will make Sonny — as Son calls him — as one of the highest paid players at the White Lily — the nickname of Tottenham Hotspur.
At that time, Son received a salary of 140 thousand pounds. This value is the third largest, but is still below Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele who get a salary of 200 thousand pounds.
So far, Son’s performance has appeared crazy in the 2020-2021 Premier League. He became the top scorer with eight goals, alongside Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
