Spain defeated Germany 6-0 in the continued group phase of the UEFA Nations League at the Olimpico Sevilla Stadium, Wednesday (18/11).
Spain, which is the runner-up of Group A4, tries to play attack because a draw or defeat will not lead La Furia Roja to the semifinals and will only benefit Germany.
Spain got a golden opportunity in the sixth minute after Sergio Ramos kick took advantage of a free kick from near the penalty box line which leads to the bottom right of the German goal, was well anticipated by Manuel Neuer.
Spain attempt to play offensive football, Germany tried to counter by counter-attacking and pressing.
Alvaro Morata put Spain 1-0 up in the 17th minute with a header from a Fabian Ruiz corner.
Six minutes later, Morata again made the ball lodged in Neuer ‘goal, but the score did not change because the line judge had raised the flag for offside.
Ferran Torres had the opportunity to add a goal in the 30th minute, but failed to trick Neuer in a one-on-one duel.
Spain could only realize the second goal in the 33rd minute. The ball is headed and the ball hits the bar. Torres made good use of the rebound and gave Neuer no chance to save.

Spain game continues to develop and vice versa with Germany. Substitution of players could not change Die Nationalmannschaft’s performance.
Several opportunities were created but there were no additional goals until the 72nd minute when Torres scored the third to finish Ruiz’s pass. Again, a simple counterattack demonstrated by the 2010 world champion.
A minute before the match broke up, Spain again added a goal. The success of confining the opponent’s defense was well completed by Mikel Oyarzabal.
The 6-0 score led Spain to the top of Group A4 and was entitled to a ticket to the UEFA Nations League semifinals which will take place in October 2021.
