Everton successfully beat Chelsea 1-0 in Week 12 of the Premier League, Sunday (13/12). The single goal in the victory was scored by Gylfi Sigurdsson with a penalty.
Playing at Goodison Park Stadium, the two teams have attacked each other from the first minute.
Chelsea created opportunities first through Kai Havertz, which Richarlison replied. But both failed to take advantage of these opportunities.
Everton got a penalty after Dominic Calvert-Lewin was brought down by Eduardo Mendy in the 21st minute. Sigurdsson who advanced to be the executioner successfully netted the ball.
