Juventus achieved unsatisfactory results in Week 29 of the Italian League 2020-2021. Visiting Torino headquarters on Sunday (4/4/2021), Andrea Pirlo’s landing team only drew 2-2 through the final score.
The Bianconeri-nicknamed Juventus- even almost lost in this match. Luckily, Cristiano Ronaldo managed to equalize before the match was over.
Acting as a guest team did not provoke the Juventus players to immediately appear to attack. Cristiano Ronaldo opened the movement to the opponent’s defense in the early minutes of the match.
However, Torino also did not remain silent. Andrea Belotti brought his team to attack the Juventus defense. Unfortunately, their efforts are still at a dead end.
Juventus finally managed to excel first over the opposing team. Federico Chiesa opened his team’s advantage after using Alvaro Morata’s pass in the 13th minute.
One-two collaboration between Chiesa and Morata managed to trick the opposing defenders. Chiesa’s right-footed shot ripped through Torino’s goal in the first half.
However, one goal behind did not weaken the host camp. Entering the 27th minute Torino managed to equalize thanks to the action of Antonio Sanabria. 1-1 score lasted until halftime.
Entering the second half, both Torino and Juventus were still not interested in reducing the tempo of the game. The host camp managed to lead again through Antonio Sanabria’s second goal in this match.
Score 2-1 for Torino’s advantage continued until past the middle of the second half. Juventus finally avoided defeat after Cristiano Ronaldo scored the equalizer in the 79th minute. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
