In a rather tight battle between forZe and Complexity on Wednesday, the CIS team defeated their rival with a score of 2: 1 and reached the final of the FunSpark ULTI 2020 Europe Final upper bracket.
ForZe started with their choice quite confidently. In the attack game, the teams showed an excellent game and took half with a score of 10: 5.
In the second half, there was a fairly equal game without a hint of a comeback from Complexity. The first card went to forZe with a score of 16:10.
On the second map, Mirage, the team did not manage to catch on to the first half and Complexity successfully carried out campaigns. The first half went to Complexity with a score of 4:11.
In the attack, forZe also didn’t stick well and they transferred the streak to the third map, giving up Mirage with a score of 9:16.
Dust2 became the culmination of today’s meeting: the teams showed an interesting game and exchanged a series of rounds. In the first half, Complexity had a pretty good start after the first gun round and didn’t let forZe breathe, thus gaining a 5 round advantage after the first half. The teams entered the second half of Dust2 at 5:10 in favor of Complexity, but forZe quickly corrected the situation.
The CIS-team, starting from the first buy-round after the lost pistol round, took 10 rounds in a row, bringing the card to the score 15:12. Then Complexity tried to transfer the streak to overtime, but took only 2 rounds. forZe successfully took the 16th round into their piggy bank and closed the map with a score of 16:14.
ForZe’s next match will be played on April 24 against Extra Salt. Extra Salt cruised past Dignitas in semifinals with a 16-9 win on Wednesday.
