Ten Kate Racing Yamaha rider Dominique Aegerter on Monday has completed his private test at TT Circuit Assen for the 2021 season.
Aegerter completed no fewer than 87 laps during this private training in Assen. Just like during the previous test, the Swiss had a very fast pace.
“It was a good test on the team’s home circuit in Assen. It was a private test, which meant I was the only one on the track.” Aegerter said.
“It was a very positive day in good conditions with some sun and an asphalt temperature of around 25 degrees. We were also very fast and my fastest time was roughly equal to the lap record.
“My pace went up and down a bit as the wind changed a bit during the day. We have collected a lot of data that the team in the workshop can continue to work on.” Aegerter added.
The test was also very useful to collect useful information for the home round at the TT Circuit Assen, which is on the calendar from 23 to 25 July.
“We are ready and I cannot wait to start the season. A big thank you to the Ten Kate Racing Yamaha team for their hard work and to the TT Circuit Assen for this opportunity.” Aegerter said.
Ten Kate Racing Yamaha has scheduled an official team presentation that will take place online on May 10-16.
“Our last test in Assen is also over. First of all, I would like to thank the TT Circuit Assen very much for this opportunity. We can look back with Dominique on a fantastic preparation. He was fast during all tests.” Ten Kate Racing Yamaha team manager Kervin Bos said.
“We were also able to test many basic settings during this training in Assen. As a team, we are very happy where we are now.” he added.
