Giannis is now on par with Michael Jordan

Giannis Antetokounmpo is now at the same level with the United States basketball legend, Michael Jordan. In fact, he led Milwaukee Bucks to the 2020-2021 NBA championship.

The Milwaukee Bucks are confirmed to be the 2020-2021 NBA champions after beating the Phoenix Suns 4-2. In the sixth game, the Bucks succeeded overthrowing the Suns 105-98 on Wednesday (21/7/2021). The key to the Bucks’ victory in the sixth game of the NBA Finals this time was the impressive performance of Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Greek player recorded a double-double with details of 50 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 blocks during 42 minutes of play. That means, 47.6 percent of the total points scored by the Bucks in the sixth game of the NBA Finals was contributed by Giannis.

Of the six NBA finals this season, Giannis has always managed to become the Milwaukee Bucks’ most points contributor. That impressive performance made Giannis the best player or MVP of the 2020-2021 NBA Finals.

The success of leading the Bucks to become champions and win the NBA Finals MVP title this season makes Giannis now on par with Michael Jordan. Giannis succeeded in matching the achievements of Michael Jordan, who previously became the only player in NBA history to win two regular season MVP NBA titles, MVP Finals, and one Defensive Player of The Year trophy.

The Greek Freak, nicknamed of Giannis, is now also the fifth foreign player in NBA history to win the NBA Finals MVP title. Giannis follows in the footsteps of the four previous foreign players, namely Dirk Nowitzki (Germany), Tony Parker (Belgium), Tim Duncan (Virgin Islands), and Hakeem Olajuwon (Nigeria).

Moreover, Giannis hopes that more foreign players will excel in the NBA in the future. “I want everyone in the world to continue to work hard to pursue their dreams. I want everyone to believe in their own abilities,” said Giannis.

“I hope to give hope to all people around the world, from Africa, from Europe, that nothing is impossible. Everything can come true. Eight years ago, I did not know what would happen to my future. Now, I am sitting here and at the peak of my career,” added Giannis. “If in the future I can not sit here again, I will not be disappointed. However, I hope everyone believes that all dreams can come true,” said Giannis.
