Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti were eliminated from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics after losing to Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong with a score of 17-21, 15-21 in the quarter-finals.
Praveen/Melati won the first point in the duel against Zheng/Huang. But after that Zheng/Huang managed to win five consecutive points which made them turn 5-1 ahead.
Zheng/Huang’s sharp attack puts Praveen/Jasmine under pressure. Zheng/Huang then managed to lead with an 8-2 advantage and continued to be 10-4.
Zheng/Huang also managed to lead by six points, 11-5 in the first game interval.
