Roberto Mancini responses to Diego Simeone interest to be Internazionale coach in the future.
Roberto Mancini has make his mind known to the public about the news of Diego Simeone’s interest and said that one club cannnot have two helmsman.
Simeone was once an Intermilan player from 1997-1999, and he is openly stated his interest about that one day, he will want to be a coach for Nerazzuri when he leaves Atletico Madrid .
Mancini admitted that he had no problem to welcome Simeone, however he said that, the arrival of Simeone will only happen if Intermilan management had no more working relation with himsel.
“Diego is one of my teammate when we both played for Lazio and I was his coach once,” said Mancini.
“If someday he will come to inter as their coach, of course I will be very happy, but the fact at the moment is that there will be no two coach at one team and working together.”
“I don’t know, let’s see when will I leave this club,” continued the Italian.
Furtheremore, Mancini also giving a comment about the report saying that he will be the new Italy manager after Antonio Conte leaving the post for Chelsea.
“To be the coach for the Italy national team is something not coming everyday. It is a different kind of job, but very interesting. I think if there is an offer that I have to consider then I will have a chance,” explained the ex Manchester City coach.
Roberto Mancini has joined Intermilan as the head coach since 2014 and try his best to help Inter to climb their worth in the Italian Serie A, Intermilan is currently sitting in the 4th position in Serie A with a collection of 64 points and 3 games left to play for this season.
