Manchester City won an easy 4-1 victory when they visited Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League continued, Saturday (24/10).
Man City immediately dominated the match since the match started at the Amex Stadium. The pressure from the visitors forced Brighton to be busy defending.

In the 28th minute Man City managed to double the advantage to 2-0 through a quick counter-attack. Is Phil Foden who managed to break into the goal of Robert Sanchez.
Jack Grealish managed to escape on the left after receiving a pass from Bernardo Silva. Without thinking, Grealish then thrust the ball to the right which was easily cleared by Foden.
Not quite there, Man City again celebrated the goal in the 31st minute which was again scored by Foden.
The England striker was listed as a goalscorer as Gabriel Jesus’ left-footed first-time shot touched his foot before it went into the Brighton goal.
Entering the second half, Man City continued to dominate the game but were unable to add goals. While Brighton managed to reduce the position through the execution of Alexis Mac Allister’s penalty in the 81st minute.
Riyad Mahrez, who entered as a substitute, managed to widen the advantage while closing the Citizens’ 4-1 victory over Brighton.
Guardiola also admitted that he was quite satisfied with this result. The Spanish coach also praised Brighton’s performance which was considered better than last season.
“It was very good, we know exactly which team we are facing not only for the result but the way they play is similar to last season, this season they are more effective,” said Guardiola.
Guardiola also admitted that he had difficulties in the second half. However, he believes that the difficulties have had a good impact on Man City’s players.
“Good lesson for half an hour in the second half, they were better than us because this game has to be played with the ball, when you don’t have it anything can happen,” said the former Barcelona coach.
“We are suffering, maybe it will be good for us. No matter the situation, we have to play.”
With this result, Man City rose to second place in the standings with a collection of 20 points. Man City are two points behind Chelsea who are still in first position.
