The match against the Hawks made DeRozan the player with the most games scoring at least 20 points in a half, as he exploded to 22 points in the first half.

Along with Ja Morant, DeRozan holds the NBA’s record this season for the most 20+ innings. It is an admirable record that shows the tenacity of these two stars. It can be said that DeRozan is leading the Chicago Bulls to the top of the East.
