Premier League Results: Beat Crystal Palace, Everton Safe from Relegation Zone

Everton finally survived the abyss of relegation after beating Crystal Palace dramatically.

The Everton vs Crystal Palace match is presented in a postponed party at Goodison Park, Thursday (19/5/2022).

Everton actually had left behind two goals before halftime in this match.

Crystal Palace’s goals were scored by Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jordan Ayew, respectively.

Incredibly, Everton managed to reverse the position to 3-2 through Calvert-Lewin’s header in the 85th minute.

This victory makes Everton safe from relegation this season. With one game to go, Frank Lampard’s side are 16th in the Premier League table with 39 points, five ahead of Burnley and bottom of Leeds United.

“It’s been incredible. One of the greatest nights of my football career. I think I might cry. It’s a great night for Everton,” said Lampard after the game.

Tens of thousands of Everton fans took to the field immediately after the match. They celebrate Everton’s success in staying in the Premier League this season.

Everton’s victory makes Burnley and Leeds United fight for one last place in the Premier League next season.
