Good news overshadows Marc Marquez in the first medical examination after the fourth operation. After the first inspection, Marquez said the results were good and he was ready to move on to the next stage.
This was revealed by Marquez through his Instagram account on Sunday (19/6). In the upload, Marquez also displays a photo with a team of doctors at Ruber International Hospital in Madrid.
“The first medical examination is complete. Everything is fine. Let’s continue! wrote Marquez on his Instagram account.
The team where Marquez belongs, Repsol Honda MotoGP also confirmed that the results of the first examination were very positive.
“First positive postoperative medical check-up for Marc Marquez,” wrote Repsol Honda on its Instagram account.
“Two weeks after undergoing surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Marc Marquez underwent his first postoperative medical examination,” wrote Repsol Honda.
According to Repsol Honda, the results of the examination confirmed that Marquez’s post-operative condition was getting better and the doctor recommended that The Baby Alien do some training.
“The initial development after surgery on Marquez’s right humerus is very positive. The medical team has recommended continuing controlled training for the next four weeks,” wrote Repsol Honda.
“The eight-time World Champion is scheduled to undergo another medical examination in the next four weeks,” Repsol Honda added.
Marquez previously underwent surgery on his right upper arm bone in the United States on June 2, 2022. As is known, Marquez’s humerus fractured after an accident at the Jerez MotoGP, Spain, in 2020.
Within six months, he had to undergo three operations at once. However, after the operation his arm had not fully recovered, so doctors decided that Marquez had a fourth operation in Minnesota.
The next race will be held at the German MotoGP on Sunday (19/6).
