Paulo Dybala compares the figures of Jose Mourinho and Massimiliano Allegri. The AS Roma striker admits he is closer to his current coach, Jose Mourinho.
Paulo Dybala left Juventus after seven seasons. He spent five seasons with Massimiliano Allegri as coach.
However, now Dybala is not playing in Juventus uniform. He decided to leave and join AS Roma in the transfer market this summer.
Dybala himself admitted that he was happy to join AS Roma. He admitted his relationship with Mourinho, who from the start convinced him to join I Giallorossi – AS Roma’s nickname.
“I have a closer relationship with Mourinho. We talk more often and discuss ideas,” Dybala said, quoted by Football Italia, Friday (7/10/2022).
However, Dybala said that there are some similarities between Mourinho and Allegri. Both are believed to have almost the same method, especially in terms of controlling the game.
“I think they are very similar in some aspects. While in other aspects, not so much the same. On the pitch, they are more or less the same. Because the coach is focused on defence and controlling the game,” he said.
However, that doesn’t mean Dybala has played down Allegri’s services. He remains grateful to the coach who gave him the opportunity to shine at Juventus. “Everyone has their own opinion and they don’t always agree.
However, we both want to give the maximum for Juventus. To be clear, we just have different ideas and don’t argue with each other every day,” Dybala said.
