The US 4 Aces, the team led by former world number one Dustin Johnson, won $ 16 million when winning at -7 at the grand final of LIV Golf Invitational Series 2022 on Sunday.
LIV Golf’s season-ending event took place on the Blue Monster par72 in Miami owned by former US president Donald Trump, and raced only for group wins.
During the first two days, 12 teams played both pairs and individual holes to select four teams on the last day of stroke play.
Team 4 Aces including Johnson, Patrick Reed, Talor Gooch and Pat Perez ranked first with a score of -7. Round to the finish on Sunday, only Gooch hit 71 strokes, the rest were all 70 strokes.
“That putt is 0.9 meters away, straight line. In individual tournaments it doesn’t matter. But here, it affects the overall result.” Jhonson said.

The 4 Aces are one stroke away from second place Punch. Punch scored -6, including Cameron Smith, Marc Leishman, Matt Jones and Wade Ormsby.
Captain Smith had the deepest negative on the closing day (-7), but Punch couldn’t get past the 4 Aces as Leishman scored round +2, Jones -2 and Ormsby +1.
Johnson quit the PGA Tour to return to the Invitational Series opening season from June this year, with a committed salary of $150 million, according to the Telegraph.
Going to the new arena, he attended all 8 stages, in which he won an individual cup and five times with the 4 Aces won the championship.
Johnson, who added $4 million in the finals, also leads the overall prize pool, $35,637 million, which includes $18 million for the season’s individual winners and the rest from the seven regular prizes.
