Qatar 2022 World Cup, Positive Impact for Middle Eastern Countries

FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, revealed that the 2022 World Cup will have a positive impact on Middle Eastern countries. The 2022 World Cup will take place from November 20 to December 18.

During one month, Qatar can maximize its profits and promote their country. Although there have been many protests over the alleged violations of Human Rights during the construction of infrastructure, this is considered not to reduce the desire of people to come.

The high number of ticket requests in this edition of the World Cup will help the hosts to introduce their country. FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, revealed that ticket sales broke the record for the most in the history of the World Cup.

In addition, he also mentioned that the 2022 World Cup will change the public stigma against countries in the Middle East. “The 2022 World Cup is already having a huge impact on the Middle East,” Infantino said. “This tournament is also an opportunity for Qatar and the entire Gulf region to show themselves to the world in another way and get rid of some of the prejudices that unfortunately exist,” the FIFA president continued.

“That moment will definitely help to get more mutual understanding between people from different cultures and backgrounds, I’m sure of that. We will have two million people who come from all over the world and show that humanity can live in peace together,” Infantino added.

The FIFA president has high hopes and expectations regarding the development of football that could be even more massive in the Gulf region. In addition, Infantino revealed that football can be cheap entertainment and is easily accessible to all levels of society.

“Football is not the exclusive property of a few, it is a world sport and we need to make it grow all over the world,” Infantino said. “We need to organize more competitions and events around the world for football. In some parts of the world there may be a lot of football, but on the other hand there are also parts where there is no top-flight football,” concluded the FIFA president.
