Arsenal managed to win over West Ham United with a score of 3-1 in the 2022-2023 Premier League. After the match, the Gunners coach – Arsenal’s nickname, Mikel Arteta revealed the key to his team’s victory in the match.
The match was presented at the Emirates Stadium, London, England on Tuesday (27/12/2022). Arsenal had left earlier through Said Benrahma’s penalty goal (27′), but they managed to get back up and score three goals at once in the second half.
The three goals were successfully recorded by Bukayo Saka (53′), Gabriel Martinelli (58′), and Eddie Nketiah (69′). This victory made Arsenal firmly at the top of the 2022-2023 Premier League standings with 40 points.
After the match, Mikel Arteta said the key to Arsenal’s victory was calm and non-stop support from fans. The coach with the Spanish passport explained that the fans were able to restore the momentum of his team.

“Then we showed composure and never panicked and did what had to be done to earn the right to win the game,” continued Mikel Arteta.
“We scored at the right time and the crowd was amazing, also the moment we conceded. They kept on believing. When we scored it got loud and we generated the momentum we needed,” added the former Arsenal midfielder.
Meanwhile, after crushing The Hammers -the nickname of West Ham United, Arsenal will challenge Brighton & Hove Albion. The match will be held at Falmer Stadium, Brighton, England on January 1, 2023.
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka managed to equal Thierry Henry’s record after scoring one goal when his team faced West Ham in the 2022-2023 Premier League. He became a Gunners player – Arsenal’s nickname – besides Henry who was able to score goals in three consecutive Boxing Day matches.

Meanwhile, Saka was happy that his team was able to topple West Ham United. The England national team striker said the fans were the main actors in the victory over The Hammers -the nickname of West Ham United.
