Ricardo Kaka understands that Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to accept a career offer at Al Nassr will be reviewed by Okezone. The move of the Portuguese superstar to the Saudi Arabian club has shocked all world football lovers.
How not, Cristiano Ronaldo is a world football icon and one of the best players in the world. However, who would have thought that he would eventually choose to anchor in Asia to continue his career.
Even so, many football fans are still curious about Ronaldo’s fundamental reasons for accepting this offer. In fact, he was contracted for 2.5 years with a fantastic fee.
Responding to this, Cristiano Ronaldo’s former colleague at Real Madrid, Ricardo Kaka said that he understood Cristiano Ronaldo’s reasons for deciding to join the Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former AC Milan star said he understood his decision to play for Al-Nassr. In the interview, he also revealed the similarities between Cristiano Ronaldo, Paolo Maldini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“I think he wants to quit playing football,” said Ricardo Kaka.
“I understand him, he is a special player. Players like him bring a simple concept to the team. Winning is not like losing. I feel a lot of young players don’t understand this. If they win, that’s great, if they don’t, it doesn’t matter. It’s not like this,” explained the man who is now 40 years old.
Kaka is known to have shared a locker room with the winner of 5 Ballon d’Or awards while strengthening Real Madrid. Both of them were brought in by Los Blancos -nicknamed Real Madrid – in the summer of 2009.
The relationship between the two also lasted for four seasons. Kaka finally returned to AC Milan after sitting on the bench more often. During his time as a teammate, Kaka understood the ambition of Ronaldo so he could understand the reasons for the star. Unfortunately, this attitude seems difficult for young players to understand.
