Ronaldo’s Diet Brings Changes to Al-Nassr Squad

Cristiano Ronaldo’s diet brought changes to the Al Nassr squad. The players at the top club of the Saudi Arabian League are said to have started paying close attention to their diet. It is done to maintain their body and performance like the superstar.

The changes that began to be seen after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo were revealed by Al Nassr nutritionist, Jose Blesa. According to Jose Blesa, Cristiano Ronaldo has excellent nutritional knowledge. Cristiano Ronaldo is also said to be able to adopt a diet that helps him gain energy to compete and train.

Jose Blesa said that Cristiano Ronaldo has a great awareness of the importance of maintaining a diet and rest. In addition to maintaining a diet, Cristiano Ronaldo is said to wear two smart devices in the form of rings and bracelets to monitor his sleep hours and physical activity every day.

“Cristiano has very good nutritional knowledge and eats a wide variety of foods to get energy for every match and training,” Jose Blesa told Spanish newspaper Ideal. “Every conversation with him is learning. We meet and talk about his diet, about how he understands the importance of this and rest to maintain performance. He wears two rest measuring devices, a ring and a bracelet,” said Jose Blesa.

Thanks to regular diet and rest, Cristiano Ronaldo has proven that age is just a number. The Portugal national team star continues to show maximum performance at the age of 38 years. Ronaldo showed maximum performance through his contribution on the field.

He was recorded as being able to record five goals and two assists in his last three appearances in the Saudi Arabian League with Al Nassr. He also brought Al Nassr to remain at the top of the Saudi Arabian League standings until week 17.

This achievement strengthens Ronaldo’s image as a megastar who deserves to be an example for other players. In fact, Ronaldo’s commitment to always maintaining fitness through diet is said to have spread in the Al Nassr locker room.

Ronaldo made the Al Nassr players train harder and follow a stricter diet. Jose Blesa as Al Nassr’s nutritionist saw the change firsthand. “Since he’s been here, all the players have been training harder and following a stricter diet,” said Jose Blesa.

“I’ve never seen a club like this where the players improve almost 90 per cent in terms of body composition every time I see them. They have less fat, more muscle, and they go through all the training. It’s a luxury to be able to work there (Al Nassr),” said Jose Blesa.

Cristiano Ronaldo officially became an Al Nassr player in early January 2023. He continued his career in the Saudi Arabian League after ending his partnership with the Premier League participating club, Manchester United. So far, Cristiano Ronaldo has played the full game in Al Nassr’s last four matches in the Saudi Arabian League. Furthermore, Ronaldo has the opportunity to appear and contribute when Al Nassr visits Damac FC headquarters on Saturday (25/2/2023)
