The Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) on Monday announced, in partnership with the Terruá agency and the DC Set Group, the “Parque Villa Olímpica” project, which will aim to offer a leisure and entertainment environment to the public during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Moreover, the initiative aims to start a process of strengthening the COB brand, as well as getting even closer to Brazilian fans.
The event will be held at Parque Villa-Lobos , in Sao Paulo (SP), between July 11 and August 11, 2024. It is worth mentioning that, during the initiative, the name of the venue will be changed to “Parque Villa Olimpica” and the space will be completely personalized with the theme of the Olympic Games and the city of Paris, host of the competition.
Olympic Villa
One of the parts of the project includes the promotion of sports facilities for the practice of 24 Olympic sports throughout the park. In this way, COB will renovate and develop courts, skate parks and break dance arenas, among other spaces, with the objective of leaving a legacy in the place even after the end of the competition.
In addition, the Brazilian Olympic Committee will promote various experiences to the public from sports clinics, the presence of former athletes, exhibitions and activations.
Arena Team Brasil
Another component of Parque Villa Olimpica will be Arena Time Brasil, which will concentrate the main activities of the event, such as live transmission of the Games, concerts, COB immersive experience, gastronomy and several brand actions.
COB Sensory Museum
The Brazilian Olympic Committee will also provide a unique and immersive experience, physical and digital, following a current worldwide trend of sensory museums.
Fans will be able to learn more about the history of the Brazilian Olympic Movement, accessing historical items from the COB collection, which today has more than 3,000 pieces.
