The Golden State Warriors on Saturday defeated the league’s best record team, the Milwaukee Bucks under superstar Stephen Curry.
“Steph is fearless. It doesn’t matter if there is a slow start of if he hasn’t had much going, he can ignite at any time.” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said after the match.
The point guard scored 22 of his 36 points in the final quarter and overtime. He hit two three-pointers in the final minute of regular time.
Moreover, he blocked what could have been the winning ball for the visitors – who played without Giannis Antetokounmpo.
But game day obviously wasn’t just that. The Celtics relied on yet another great performance by Jayson Tatum to overcome Trae Young and thus overcome the Hawks.
Kawhi Leonard dominated the New York Knicks to secure the Los Angeles Clippers’ 36th win of the season. And finally, the Kings won a head-to-head match to retain the West’s runner-up spot against the Suns.
