Soon to get a new owner from Qatar, Manchester United is now said to be ready to bring in Neymar Jr. The Red Devils (the nickname of Manchester United) seem to be really serious about returning to their former glory.
After it was reported that they would get a new owner from Qatar, the latest team based at Old Trafford is said to be bringing in Neymar Jr. This was known through the Goal International report which was launched on Tuesday (25/4/2023).
According to the Goal International report, Manchester United will continue to monitor Neymar Jr’s contract situation at PSG. Currently, the Brazilian player is still recovering from an injury he suffered until the end of the season.
“Despite having a long-term contract with PSG that runs until 2027, his future in the French capital is in doubt. PSG reportedly wants to release attackers in the summer, “wrote the Goal International page, quoted on Tuesday (25/4/2023).
In fact, the Red Devils have been targeting Neymar Jr since the January 2023 winter transfer market. However, that has not happened because Manchester United is in the process of selling the club. If the takeover of the club is complete, it is likely that Neymar Jr will move to Old Trafford.
“If the Qatari takeover is finalized in the summer, then the club is expected to take concrete steps to bring the forward to Old Trafford,” continued the Goal International report.
However, Manchester United must face other challenges. The reason is, Chelsea also reportedly wants to get the services of Neymar Jr. Chelsea owner Todd Boehly reportedly asked about the availability of Neymar Jr.
Meanwhile, in February 2023, it was reported that Manchester United was ready to be acquired by a businessman from Qatar. In fact, the Qatari businessman is ready to buy Manchester United for 6 billion pounds!
