Arsene Wenger Believes Manchester United Have Lost All Hope and Fighting Spirit Due to a 3-0 Loss Against Manchester City

Arsenal legend Arsene Wenger has expressed his concern about Manchester United’s current state, claiming that they have lost all hope and ‘fighting spirit’ after their 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Wenger, who managed Arsenal for 22 years, said that he felt “sorry” for United after their humiliating defeat at Old Trafford.

“This team has lost confidence, quality, and even spirit today. I would say it was not a great fighting spirit from Man United on top of that.” Wenger said.

Wenger’s comments come after a series of poor performances from United, who have now lost five of their opening nine Premier League games.

United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has been under pressure since taking over the club in the summer, but Wenger believes that the problems are deeper than just the manager.

“I think the problem is bigger than the manager. The problem is the club itself. The club has lost its way. It has lost its identity.” Wenger said.

Wenger also believes that United’s players need to take more responsibility for the team’s current situation.

“The players need to look at themselves in the mirror and say, ‘Am I doing everything I can to help this club win? If they are not, then they need to change their attitude.” Wenger said.

Wenger’s comments are a scathing indictment of United’s current state, and they will raise further concerns about the club’s future.

It is still early days in Ten Hag’s reign, but he needs to turn things around quickly if he wants to avoid being sacked.

United’s players also need to start performing better, and they need to show more fight on the pitch. If they don’t, then Wenger’s prediction of a hopeless future for United may well come to pass.
