Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star, Kylian Mbappe, is said to have reached an agreement with Real Madrid. The young star from Paris is ready to join Real Madrid in the 2024 summer transfer market.
This news was conveyed by French media, Foot Mercato, recently. If true, of course, this will be happy news for Real Madrid, who have long wanted Mbappe’s presence.
Mbappe’s name has been widely rumored to be moving from Les Parisiens – PSG’s nickname – for the past few years. However, the 25-year-old striker changed his mind at the last minute by refusing to join Real Madrid in 2022.
Mbappe finally signed a new contract with PSG until the end of June 2024. Recently, it was reported that Liverpool had become PSG’s most credible and dangerous candidate regarding Mbappe’s future, rather than Real Madrid.
However, recently, Foot Mercato reported that Mbappe had agreed terms on a deal with Real Madrid for the summer of 2024. The French media stated that the 2018 World Cup winner had agreed to join Los Blancos when his contract expires in the summer of 2024.
“The tension will end soon. According to our information, Kylian Mbappe has reached an agreement with Real Madrid in the last few days,” wrote a Foot Mercato report, quoted Monday (8/1/2024).
“The French international has agreed this time to say ‘yes’ to Real Madrid, after years of stupid games that even ended up annoying the Spanish press,” he added.
Previously, Mbappe himself had confirmed the right time to discuss his future. This will be done when he succeeds in bringing PSG to the 2023-2024 Champions League championship.
“I’m very motivated for this year, it’s very important. “We had a title to chase and we achieved it,” said Mbappe.
“I haven’t made a decision, I haven’t made a choice. But with the agreement I made with the president this summer, whatever my decision, we managed to protect all parties and maintain the club’s calm to face the challenges that will come,” he concluded.
