Juventus Unbeaten in 17 Matches, Dusan Vlahovic Reveals Bianconeri Secret

Juventus performed extraordinary by going unbeaten in 17 consecutive matches in all competitions. Dusan Vlahovic said the Bianconeri – Juventus’ nickname – played as if it were the last match, so that every player gave a full performance.

Juventus successfully got full points over Sassuolo in the 20th match of the Italian League 2023/2024. This certainty was obtained after the Old Lady won 3-0 at Juventus Stadium, Wednesday (17/1/2024).

In this match, Dusan Vlahovic performed well by scoring two goals in the 15th and 37th minutes. Meanwhile, Federico Chiesa closed Juventus’ victory with a goal in the 89th minute.

The victory over Sassuolo made Juventus extend their record of 17 matches without defeat in all competitions this season. Meanwhile, Juventus last tasted defeat on September 23 2023, after being beaten by Sassuolo with a score of 2-4 in the 2023/2024 Italian League.

Meanwhile, Dusan Vlahovic said Juventus could go 17 consecutive matches without defeat, because they consider every match to be the last match and make the players give their best performance. He also hopes that the Bianconeri can continue to win, but must remain focused and concentrated in every match.

“We prepare for every game as if it were the last game, we try to give everything in every game. “We are happy to have won and want to continue like this, but we must always focus and concentrate,” said Dusan Vlahovic, quoted from Football Italia, Wednesday (17/1/2024).

Currently, Juventus is in second place in the 2023/2024 Italian League standings with 49 points. They are two points behind Inter Milan who are currently in first place.

Then, Juventus also has a 16 point advantage over Atalanta and Lazio to be able to appear in the 2024/2025 Champions League. This will make the competition interesting, because there are still many points that each team will get.

Meanwhile, Dusan Vlahovic admitted that he didn’t want to care about Atalanta and Lazio. He explained that from the start Juventus’ target was to finish in the top four and would try to take points in every match.

“We have said from the start that our goal is to finish in the top four, we will take (points) and then see where we are,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Juventus will try to continue the positive trend when they face Lecce in the 21st match of the Italian League 2023/2024. The match will take place at the Stadio Comunale Via del Mare, Monday (22/1/2024).
