Young Manchester United midfielder, Kobbie Mainoo, reacts after being the hero of his team’s victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in Week 22 of the 2023-2024 Premier League. Not expecting to be able to do this, Kobbie Mainoo said this achievement was like a dream.
“I’m still not conscious, to be honest I still feel like I’m dreaming,” said Mainoo, quoted from Manchester United’s official website, Friday (2/2/2024).
“This is a tough place to be, they (Wolves) had a good home run here, so we have to get a win,” he added.
It is known that this was Mainoo’s second goal at Manchester United this season. Previously, the English passport player also contributed one goal in the Red Devils’ victory over Newport County (4-2) in the fourth round of the 2023-2024 FA Cup, Sunday 28 January 2024.
“To start playing in the Premier League for my boyhood club is incredible. “Now, I’m just trying to run the game well, win more games and get some real momentum,” explained Mainoo.
